POTTY TRAINING

Potty training is part of our daily activities in the two year old classroom. Children must be potty trained before moving on to the three's classroom. Our toddler sized toilets make it a breeze for the children because they are just their size. 

With parent support and a consistent routine, potty training is always a success! 

School Age Classroom at A+ Learning Academy

For our school age program, we offer transportation to and from local elementary schools. In the classroom, learning centers are set up and free exploration is encouraged. A homework club is in place, encouraging peer tutors as well as teacher guidance. We use the space at Avant Garde as an extension of the classroom. Extended care programs are offered when your child’s school is out.

All of our summer and spring break camps are STEAM based, which is an “educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.”

FIELD TRIPS

We love field trips! During our summer and spring break camps we visit a lot of fun places in the RTP area including the pools, splash pads, science museums, discovery centers, skating rinks, parks, bounce-u and more!
